Warranty and Repairs


Manufacturers warranties vary between brands and items so we are not able to provide an exhaustive list of warranty details for every item we carry. We would recommend checking the manufacturer’s own website for specific warranty information before contacting us. If you are not able to find the information you can contact us at info@federatedtool.com and we will try our best to assist.

Non Warranty Repairs

Repairs for tools outside of the warranty period should be taken to the designated service center of the manufacturer. We can assist you in locating the closest service center if necessary. Most manufacturers list their service centers on their own website, and we recommend checking there first before contacting us.

Warranty Repairs

All warranty repairs are subject to manufacturer approval. In the event that warranty is not approved the non-warranty repair policy will apply. In order to claim a warranty, all tools that you believe may be defective must be returned prepaid to the manufacturers designated service center, along with a copy of your original invoice or proof of purchase. Warranties do not cover products misused, abused or that have been modified in any fashion. Normal wear and tear is also not covered by manufacturer’s warranties. Refer to manufacturer’s warranty for complete details. 


All repairs (including warranty) will be subject to a $9.95 environmental fee to cover "green" disposal and recycling of old parts.
