If your order is over $149.99 (before applicable taxes) and meets our maximum weight requirement, we'll ship your order to you via FedEx or Purolator absolutely FREE! It’s our way of saying Thanks for your order!!
We can also ship across Canada at very affordable rates. You can get accurate shipping costs prior to completing your order.
Damaged, lost or short shipments should be reported to us immediately at 1-800-401-7980 so that we can re-ship the merchandise and/or register a damage claim with the appropriate carrier. Please do not accept packages that are obviously opened or damaged. Keep damaged goods and containers exactly as they were delivered until you're advised otherwise.
Make sure to inspect all freight-bound shipments prior to accepting the contents for any damage. Report damage directly to the delivery person and clearly mark the bill of lading as "DAMAGED". All damaged shipments must be reported to us within 24 hours of delivery. Report all damaged shipments to: firstname.lastname@example.org. Unfortunately we cannot make or allow claims against any shipment which is not marked as "DAMAGED" with the courier or freight company. It is the responsibility of the receiver to carefully check each shipment and notify the courier of damage before signing to accept the shipment.
Free Shipping Policy Restrictions:
Free shipping does not apply to large and/or heavy items (over 50lbs) or any items requiring a freight carrier. Items that have a "HEAVY ITEM" shipping designation will be shipped and billed to you at the most economical rates we have available. Please note: your order total must be a minimum of $149.99 (before applicable taxes) to qualify for free shipping. We reserve the right to withhold free shipping to any remote destination that would be unreasonably costly to provide free shipping to.
Orders that are picked up in store instead of receiving Free shipping will not receive any additional discount.
P.O. Box Shipments and Delivery Locations
Unfortunately we cannot ship to PO Boxes, we must ship to a physical address. For your protection, a signature is required upon delivery of your order. Free Shipping will not apply to any address designated “Remote” by Purolator or FedEx.
Our Free Shipping offer applies to most locations in Canada, however we reserve the right to withhold free shipping to any remote destination that would be unreasonably costly to provide free shipping to.
In the extremely unlikely event that excessive freight rates are charged or quoted by our couriers for any other reason not stated in this policy, we reserve the right to exempt that shipment from this policy. In all instances you will be contacted before your order ships to notify you of any extra freight charges not charged at the time of order. At that time you can either approve or cancel your order if you wish.
We are unable to ship your order to an any address other than the billing address of your credit card. If you require your order to be sent to a different address we ask that you set up a PayPal account and add a verified secondary address for the order to go to.
Heavy & Excluded Items:
Unfortunately, individual items in excess of 50 pounds are excluded from our free freight policy. Even so, we can offer excellent freight rates to destinations across Canada. We reserve the right to exclude items from the free shipping policy, items will be marked as "Excluded from Free Shipping". Items which are less than 50 pounds but of unusual length or size may also be excluded from free shipping as couriers normally charge extra for over sized items.
Freight Bound Shipments:
Items that are too large to qualify for our standard shipping rates will be shipped via freight carrier. We will arrange your shipment door-to-door if you wish. In any event, you will always be notified of freight charges before your order is processed so that you can approve them. Many items requiring freight transit have a fixed shipping cost available at checkout. This cost is shown for those items when shopping the item, on the right side of the screen.
We process all orders during regular business hours (M-F 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM Eastern Standard Time). That means you can expect your order to ship within 2 to 10 business days. You will be notified of any delays.
Delivery Address Accuracy:
In order to ship your package, we require a complete street address with postal code to insure that you get prompt delivery. We are not responsible for shipments that are delayed, lost, or misdirected due to an inaccurate address being provided. Federated Tool will not be responsible if additional shipping charges are accrued because of incorrect or incomplete addresses. If a problem with a shipping address is discovered, we will attempt to contact you and correct the problem however it is ultimately your responsibility to provide us with accurate information.
SHOP ON LINE PICK-UP IN-STORE
You can place your order for in store pickup, however we will require that the person picking up the order shows government issued photo ID with the address matching the billing address of the credit card used for the purchase.
