The Pow-R-Tek SR (Spindle Router) Motor is a Canadian-engineered powerhouse for router tables, featuring 3-1/4 hp and a 4.2-inch diameter motor body. Designed, engineered, and tested in Canada, it draws on an extensive study of market routers to deliver a high-performance motor solution.
- Dual airflow ports at the motor base deliver a constant supply of fresh air to help prevent overheating.
- Custom airflow cap redirects exhaust to the sides and downward rather than up through the table opening; cap design also lets the collet be raised higher for easier bit changes.
- Includes a Variable Speed Control Box for complete control of bit rotation; speed range 10,00022,000 RPM.
- No-volt release switch prevents restart after power loss; Soft Start feature for safer spin-up.
- Two angular contact bearings (rated for 30,000 RPM) with light contact seals and Klüber grease for smooth, durable operation.
- Uses ER-20 collets in 1/4? and 1/2? sizes; includes spare brushes and two cast-iron wrenches.
- Compatible with JessEm's Heavy Duty Dual Intake Dust Box and Hose Adapter Kit (each sold separately).
- Note: Operating the motor in an enclosed space or dust box without the matching Hose Adapter Kit will void the warranty.
