Deep Cut Utility auger bits raised the bar for drilling into utility poles, railroad ties and wet/frozen wood. The hand-sharpened cutting edge and spur quickly and easily drills through the most demanding wood, while wobble-free flutes dramatically reduce friction, smoke and vibration in deep holes. A resin-based coating is used for heat dissipation and easy removal of the stickiest chips. Easily resharpened. 7/16" quick-change shank. 18" OAL. 7/8" DIA.
