We carried this product for years from Milwaukee however Milwaukee discontinued this product in spite of the fact that it was very popular. We have sourced this direct from the manufacturer, Safety Speed Manufacturing, that produced these saws for Milwaukee for many years. This is identical to the Milwaukee 6480-20 that we sold for years, but with the Safety Speed logo on it. Safety Speed uses a Milwaukee motor to power the panel saw, the same as it was when it was sold under the Milwaukee brand. All Safety Speed accessories are compatible with older Milwaukee saws.
The 6480-20C is a compact panel saw with a 5’ frame, and a 50” maximum crosscut with a 96” rip cut capacity. Featuring a cut accuracy of 1/32″, and a 1.75″ cut depth.
Accessories included as standard equipment on the 6480-20C include:
- A portable folding stand and wheels allowing for moving the panel saw around your shop as your day-to-day operations change,
- General-purpose saw blade.
- an optional dust bonnet allows you to set your machine up for collecting dust
The 6480-20C includes a 3.25 horsepower Milwaukee Tool motor. The dust collection kit and vacuum for collecting as much dust as possible are optional accessories.
