Feather boards are a great tool for holding your stock and preventing kickback, but they do have their limitations. Now there is an option with no limitations. Introducing our Clear-Cut„¢ Stock Guides. The unique guide rollers on the stock guide are mounted on a 5 degree angle effectively steering your stock toward the fence. Your stock is pulled tightly to the fence and the grip force of the urethane rollers holds it securely in position. Clear-Cut Stock Guides operate on the same principle as a stock feeder in that the stock is guided at a slight angle as it is fed forward.
With the stock being guided at a slight angle towards the fence it is critical they not rotate in the out feed direction, especially if you are cutting a dado or other machining with the board. This would feed the stock unwontedly into the cutter. To prevent this and any kick back, each roller is fitted with a one way needle roller bearing. This ensures each roller spins in the direction of feed.

They are locked in their position along the fence with a single twist of the pivot knob and the height setting is controlled with the tightening of the clamping knob. For long term routing we even broached the clamping knob to accept a 1/4" hex key so you can tighten them even more for added security they wont lose their setting. When not in use they just pivot out of the way. With Clear-Cut„¢ Stock Guides no need to struggle holding long boards tight to your fence as you try to feed it through your router bit. The guides pull your stock securely into position, no need for a second set of feather boards. Just feed your work into the stock guides and they pull your stock into the fence while you hold onto the other end.
You can have complete control of your stock even when routing wide boards or large panels, the dual action of the guides will pull your work tight to the fence. You will achieve safer, smoother, more precise cuts as your work is always held in position.
Clear-Cut„¢ Stock Guides mount to a standard 1/4" T-Slot found on most commercially available router table fences. An accesory mounting plate is available for shop made router table fences. The guides have 2-3/4" of total adjustment and maximum stock thickness is from the surface of your table to 9/16" below the center of the mounting T-Slot.

The adjustment knobs are machined from stainless steel for longevity, the rollers are CNC machined from wear resistant acetal resin which also has a low coefficient of friction and the traction tires are molded out of urethan for long life and superior grip on your stock.
