The special, contactless cutting technology facilitates the work immensely, as only low friction losses develop between the blade and the counter blade. Thus, not only the necessary energy expenditure reduces, but also the volume. The blades of grass are cut off deeply and cleanly. A fine lawn optics results, nearly as good as cut with shears. This high-quality cylinder mower has a smooth-running mowing spindle mounted in ball bearings with 5 precision-ground cutting knives from high-grade steel and enables an exact adaptation of the cutting height thanks to a four-level cutting height adjustment. The cutting technology of the GE-HM 38 S-F even enables results suitable for golf courses. The lawn mower is additionally equipped with a plastic running roller with a diameter of 2" (50 mm) and large-area, lawn-protecting wheels. Its grass catch box has a capacity of about 6.87 US Gallons (26 L).
